Earphones

I'm looking to purchase these and I'm wondering if anyone here got them, and how they rate 'em!

Have been reading a bit about the fake vs genuine versions so know what to look for, and that one there is dealt with Amazon direct so they shouldn't be dealing dodgy copies!

If anyone can recommend something else than post a link :)))

You can't go wrong with Sennheiser.
you can, unsure about this model although

do that !
I have them and they are fine.
Few people complain about them being imbalanced to the left or so, are they fine for you and how would you rate the noise cancellation? :-))

Erm, it cancels any noise you'd hear in a street? Beyond that, I can't help you, sorry.

The bass is pretty good on them as well for a pair of earphones. That's the one thing I noticed. The bass shits all over Sony comparisons.

cx300 suck balls, dunno about 400s
Don't get them. The latest ones are apparently a lot better than the cx300/400 series and cost around the same on play.com (direct from play.com too - they are £50 something on amazon and even more in other places)

I just got the Klipsch Image S4 two days ago and they are the most uncomfortable things ever. Shame because their sound was good. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-IMAGE-S4-Image-Headphones/dp/B001V9LPT4 . Returned them to amazon luckily, and their price has gone up (was £53 yesterday) Already ordered the CX550.
Btw I used to own a pair of CX300 and they were perfect for me (average sound quality, but they are so comfortable). These CX550 have exactly the same design but the sound quality is apparently tons better. Just check out head-fi.org

Quite liking the reviews of the cx550 but would prefer more noise cancellation which is why I was going to opt for the cx400. Only £5 or so difference (based on links posted) so not sure whether to just get the cx400 now : (

The CX 400 don't have noise cancellation. What they mean by "Noise Isolating" is the earbuds stick right into your ear so you can't heard outside noise and that's it. The design of the earbuds for the CX 550 is exactly the same so you get exactly the same noise isolation but you also get much better sound quality.

Yupyup, which is what I was thinking of when they meant it. Would be using it for skating etc and want to minimize every other noise when @ parks etc.

Might just go for the 550 then if that's the case. Will have another look in the morning :>

i have them sound quality is nice. However 2 pair broke in the space of 2 months. I am constantly taking and putting it into my pocket and the connector at the bottom of the ipod has broke both times.
i think developers of earphones are _so_ happy people always do that :D
Parent
i dont do it deliberately, but im fussy with what music i listen to. So im constantly taking it out of my pocket changing song and putting it back into my pocket. Having a wallet in the pocket doesnt help either.
Parent
same, tho my pocket is empty then :D

Same here, broke two of them in half a year.
