wirless router

i have a network at home, with 4 pcs, connected to a main router (edimax), so if we disconnect it we don't have internet
i also connected an wirless router so i can connect my iphone and surfe on wirless at home. now i want to set a pass on that wirless router, so anyone who wants to surfe on that internet, will need a password (like an WPA or WEP protection)
however, i cant connect to the wirless routher, all the ip's i tryed does not work, only the 10.0.0.2 which is the main gateway (the edimax's router)

anyone had troubles like this? how i can set a password for the wirless router? i cant connect to him

Don't get what you are trying to say, you can't log in to your router? 192.168.2.1 and login as admin:1234 or something, and don't use WEP lol
yes i know how to set password and that WPA2 is better, was just giving an example
'm saying, that i just cant connect to that router. the main router in home is the edimax, so if i write ipconfig on cmd it will show his ip (10.0.0.2)
i googled his default ip and tried to connect...nothing...

do you think i twill work if i disable the edimax( i won't have inet) and try to connect to the wireless router?

don't use WEP :d
2 minutes with backtrack and WEP is cracked
use WPA2 instead
to connect to the router try what spiroze said 192.168.1.1
otherwise dont put a password, but put in place a list of machines allowed to connect to the router using MAC addresses
i have two routers
1 main router, edimax, which i connect fine
1 wireless router, which is connected to both the edimax and my pc, and i cant log in to him (tried every ip possible lol)

The wireless router should be used as a switch instead so that any computer trying to connect to your network and access the internet should get the IP from the Edimax router.
You can achieve this by connecting one of the wireless router switch port to one of Edimax's switch port and disabling DHCP on the wireless router.

The routers found on the market basically route packages from a network to another. One is the WAN port (internet) and the other is the LAN. The LAN part of a router is a switch. This switch can be extended by connecting it to another switch. The nice part is that the wireless network is also connected to the LAN and this is why what I stated above works.
