vid_restart when im connnecting?:S

when i join a server my et connect like 2 times whats the bind in your config that i just connects one time. because when its connecting and im in the server it dous like a /vid_restart once and im in but i dont want that vid_restart :D?

wrong bind or cvar anythink like this who not exist is in ur cfg then

open mod folder and look at the file cvar_backupx for bad data , then change the values

Some league configs require cvars to be within certain values. Some cvars require you to vid_restart to get them to change. Your cvar # ≠ the league cvar #, so it vid_restarts to change it.

Do what nonix said, or (if you have cvar backups enabled) look in your eptro folder to see what cvars are being forced and edit your config accordingly.

load ETpro mod and vid_restart before connecting to the server.

thats the same only you vid_restart and then connect ipv connect and vid_restart :D

well, his ETmain config differs a lot from his ETpro config, so he connects to server with the ETmain config and there are certain restrictions etc so when it loads the ETpro config it has to vid_restart because not all values can be changed without vid_restarting.

ok but why should vid_restart before connecting help? because he says it vid_restarts after connection...

because when you load the etpro config before connecting the restricted cvars will already be in the range wanted and no vid_restart needed so no other cvars will be changed either on connect. It's the best solution

will that stay for always or do you have to do vid_restart everytime before you connect to anything?

everytime you open ET, load ETpro mod (and config automatically) then vid_restart and connect. no need to vid_restart everytime you connect to a different server, just everytime you restart ET :o)

I do it like this because I had some unwanted config changes due to that and stability is what you want!
