At my school if the highmaster could not see the school gate from the main quad, due to mist, everyone was allowed to go home.

But obviously my school was better than Meez's public school. LoL learning @ bio

I don't think you understand how England works. An inch or two of snow and everything shuts down.

we have around 20 cm here in middle germany, thats really nice. just had a driving lesson in the snow. was a great expirience

Slight overstatement, but roads are too bad & many people have small diesel fwd cars which have no chance here (lots of hills) and obviously no snow tires.

Most of the students live within a 30 minute walk of my college, but the teachers live much further away and a lot of people over here have small diesel engined front wheel drive small cars. Since we don't have enough grit/aren't prepared enough they just can't make it here!
