What's the weather in Bodo. Norway?

My friend is going there in the end of January and he asked me what kind of weather he should expect, what to wear etc.

He's from Singapore, so he's not used to cold or heavy snow.

I tried to advise him myself but considering I used to wear sneakers during -20 to -25 winters I figured it might be better to get some insight info from some Norwegians instead.

So, Norwegians, please help me out with this!

Been there, done that. Some forecasts showed heavy rain and positive temp, wheareas, other said -16 C and heavy snow.

Due to the lack of credibility of some of the forecasts, I decided to hope that some NOR guys will read this and possibly share some first hand knowledge with me.

Same to 3 of my friends... They gonna travel to London for 3 days but they don't know what to expect, specially because we don't really have clothes for negative temperatures....

When are they coming to London? Its pretty cold for the UK atm, some days doesn't go above freezing. So pack for -3 to + 6 or so kinda weather if in the next week i i guess!

Well, kinda obvious

prepare the worst, might be cold might be not but the wind makes it colder than it is anyway so good clothing is needed

just check predictions few days he/she goes there if its gonna rain etc (probably is)

The weather forecast for Bodø is actually rain and +5 Celsius the next couple of days. The average temperature is (-5) - ( -15) Celsius and a lot of snow in January, February. Would suggest to pack ALOT of warm clothes and wool clothes especially (if u dont have it, buy it)
Can get windy and it will feel alot colder. So prepare for harsh weather

Two years ago I had some guys over from Spain(I'm living in Estonia). So it was winter and one of them was afraid of snow and refused to come out. :D
