Duel monitor issue

Okay, I have two monitors, I have my main Packard bell one and then my HD TV which is the secondary screen. However, when I boot up my PC I get the "No signal" message from the Packard bell one. The HD TV boots up fine but is liturally just a wallpaper / screen saver since it is the secondary screen. Its quite strange because I can drag some icons across by randomy clicking on and grabbing on the main screen. Any ideas?

Thanks

did u check the cables for the packard bell one. looks like a cable problem to me
Yep, there fine. I have had similar issues before, but turning on the TV would generally activate my main monitor if you know what I mean.

gl with it, dual monitors are nice :)
change some input/output settings from drivers like (clone, single, dual etc.) what ever there are. if u can ofc :d
Its not possible, even If I right click and go to Personalize, the menu appears on the screen thats off, so I cant see what Im doing! Quite annoying idd.

Swap the cables around then config the screens as Cwrd said.

Im really bad on computers, can you expand on what you mean by swap the cables around? How will that make a differance?

If you swap the primary screen cable (currently tv) to the lcd then the lcd would become the primary. By doing this you would gain control over the primary functions like personalise etc. Then you should be able to setup the tv correctly. Im guessing whats happening is the current resolution isnt supported by the tv and thats why its not being displayed. selecting tv as secondary would alow you to alter the tv res.

I assume both cable connectors are the same when attached to the card ? If so just swap the positions around on the card.

But the TV comes on, not the primary PC screen. I know what you mean though, I did have this option yesturday( I forget how I actually did it) My HD/LCD secondary screen became the primary. When I opened Display settings, the resolution on my first monitor couldnt be changed. I even attempted to set it to primary, this is mopre or less how I got myself into this problem further. Thanks anyhow.

If you swap the physical cable around on the back of the graphics card it will swap the primary and secondary screens around.

primary becomes secondary.

secondary becomes primary.

You can then setup the screens as mentioned. /j #|X|Multigaming and I talk you through it.

ah kk, i just deleted drivers in safemode (i had similar issue like you have now). and then fresh install in normal windows mode! and check settings before you're gonna get 2 monitors working :D

It has worked fine before, just sometimes it seems to lose signal, In the past it seems to have sorted itself out.

i d say that PB monitor seems to have some defect...
as it seems your motherboard knows theres a monitor and it outputs data us usual...
maybe check the screen on another pc to check its functionality
if it wont work, have a look at your guarantee and replace it :>
I think it works fine, I have had similar issues in the past, wont hurt to check though.
