Anyone has experience with this? Thinking about buying a DB for my TV setup.
If anyone has any experience with CS pm me or qry me on IRC (/query NuggaN), would like to know more as I don't know that much about it.

but back then it was pretty easy just dreambox on set a few things and u could see everything
I thought it was pretty complicated and involved setting up a server and shit.
btw, i'm reading around on a swedish cardsharing forum atm and I can't see any threads about any limitations so I guess it's still works at least for swedish channels. I remember seeing a list and I think it said that most swedish networks work except for HD channels, which is fine for me as I don't have an HD TV in my room.
I need someone who knows a lot about this stuff so I can get some hints on what I need and how to set it up and all that before I spend 400 euro or whatever a dreambox costs :p
u can get a dreambox tv card for the pc for around 70€ which is equally good as a dreambox
u better go into some random dreambox forum and ask there around like http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/dreambox-general/
You do not need cards if you're working on Dreambox. I suggest going for the HD box since the SD seem quite poor quality. I've done a few of them, and used a few of them. The Dreambox is defo the one to get. And make sure it's flashed and receives cable or satellite (whichever you choose). You do not need cards, you flash firmware and the image onto the box, simple to do and it works. Runs on Linux.
Still looking for some weird ass Charizard card, if anyone can help me out give me a pm.
you just need dreambox,RS-232 serial cable and a softmod
