ye, deinstalled everything, installed it from the cd again, then the latest update, didnt work.

I don't remember much of ati stuff, because I last used ati card like 5 years ago. But I try to think of something. Still I'd rather get the latest drivers online than the ones that come with the cd

i did, first the cd, cuz my pc was whining, and after that the ones from here:

uninstall all gfx drivers, install newest one @ati.amd.com (don't install any crap you got on the cd)
