try to clean up ur mix, maybe try to stereo seperate some of the hihat thingies and maybe lowpass the hihats or pitch them down, sounds too digital in my opinion.
im using ableton live with max dsp, triggerpad, akai apc40 and digidesign 16 channel firewirre audiointerface and some analog stuff liek korg ms20 and some vintage delay effects . . .

i posted my active monitors a few days ago in ur last journal i think. im since 1996 into serious producing stuff and using ableton since the first closed beta. awesome, btw u can use ur fruityloops setup as a vst 2.4 instrument in ableton and route the channels on lives inputs . . . awesome opportunitys to ezi sequence and perform live if u are using a decent midi setup with atleast 8 faders and 20 knobs.

the ms20 is triggered by my midi clips in live and tortured with realtime tweaking at the knobs on the hardware. korg released a really nice software version, search here http://avaxhome.ws/software/software_type/multimedia/Pro_Audio_Plugins for it :)
