after some sucessful journal and found A LOT of nice metal bands, thx to you guys, i now need some recommendation to some rock bands i will like, according to my taste
i like listenin to:

coldplay
the killers

most of those are your typical mainstream nu-metal or punkrock bands; I listened to most of those when I was like 14-16 aswell though ;)

The killers are pretty good though.

I'm a metalhead myself, but when I dont want metal I usually listen to older bands like CCR or pink floyd. Also check out the the last shadow puppets or the xx (or tricky if you like the xx)

probably 90% of my play list is metal...but sometimes i just need something quite like the killers or coldplay, and sometimes i feel like listening to some rock, so i like the soft bands

its not about metal...and yes not every of the bands are rock, some are alternative, indie, pop, but mostly rock style
