a 3on3 OC

why not?

did some groundwork around the CB site and noticed that the last 3on3 OC took place in fall 2008 with a grand total of 224 signups. surely the amount of clans that dropped out is rather big, especially in the lower leagues. 108 was the result of my rather sloppy count, which makes it roughly, what, ~48%. so to get some contradicting figures I checked the 6on6 tournament of the same year that concluded with the number of 216 signups, of which 73 dropped out.. so that should sum up to just about 1/3 of dropouts.

can't say that the difference is huge enough to just kill off the 3on3 part completely, so if dropouts are not the real issue here, what is? the ladder has become a little too repetitive to provide any interest. ESL does not really make up for it due to the lack of signups..think the last cup had just about 80 in total.

besides, the CB crew has the right to reject any of the teams that have dropped out during the last seasons.
