mw2 unable to connect to host

Hi :D

So im kinda bored so tried to play some cod6 with friends but i cant connect to the same server... i click join game on steam and it goes in game but then gives me the error Unable to connect to host

Ive done all the ports and stuff but it still wont connect. Also when i do try to connect to publics it takes like 10 minutes to find a server so can anyone help me out here cause its really annoying having a game i cant play :<

it says its open now but sometimes says strict

Log in to your router's control panel and turn on UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). If you don't know how to do that, your router's manufacturer should have something on their website.

I've given you links for the more "major" router manufacturers in hope that you have one of them, if not then Google it yourself! :P

ive looked around my page and there isn't an option for UPnP :S my friend even had a look so i'm not just stupid xD

Are you using a router? Maybe try setting it all to default settings.

Had the same problem your cod is probably not fully updated, try to select another download region in steam. file > settings > download

Latest version right now is probably 1.0.180 check if yours is the same.
