Take Dirk Kuyt, his work-ethic is world class, but he doesn't do anything in the final 3rd, to me, that's the exact same with Pienarr. If you cant do that, you're not world clas.

I'm sorry how can you say the two players are the same? For a start Kuyt is/was a forward and secondly their playing styles are completely different. The only thing that they have in common is that they have amazing work ethic but that is far as it goes.
