Vent problems @ windows 7

Hello
since i got win 7 (ultimate) i got some issues... Its like lagging vent, sometimes it works fine sometimes it turns off sounds and when i click disconnect i hear 3 min of what they have said... its rly annyoing and didnt find any solution @ google so far..
plz help!

I also had it, and i fixed it by

Setup => Use Direct Sound => SFX => Directional => <- Add Front left & Front right
