dunno why all the flame at handball (not refering to you) but handball actualy is a full contact sport which is waaaaaaay more fysical/fast (quick breakes etc)/energetic then football etc.

I've never played it or even watched it, I don't think. So wouldn't really know. Can only comment on stuff I know :D

I could care less if a guy plays a "woman's" sport or if a woman plays a "man's" sport. There shouldn't really be that divide, imo.
