never played 1 because my pc was old and crap, but now I can easily play both 1 and 2. I'm a big fan of bioware games though. Baldurs gate, kotor series, nwn and such are amongst my favourite games of all time :)

Baldurs gate-, kotor-, nwn- , mass effect- and bioshock series are amongst my favorites aswell... dragon age aswell. U'll most likely enjoy bioshock 2 aswell ( haven't play that much yet though, but i'm pretty sure)

yeah I really enjoyed dragon age aswell, been playing it the last few days. I do feel like the world is pretty small. I mean, there is alot of content, but not alot of places to travel to and maps tend to be small imo. Compared to games like bg, nwn or even kotor.

hmmm that's a good one... i liked mass effect 1 because you could get tons of weapons (in mass effect 2 you got far less) but mass effect 1 has some flaws which they fixed in 2... and 2 looks really amazing :) dunno which one to point out as best :p

e: If you are interested in storyline play mass effect 1 first... you will understand 2 far better and you can import your char if you like... (the choices that you make in me1 have effect on me2)
