win7 + et minimizing

not the usual need minimizer question, i have one that works

when i minimize (not every time, seems to be at random) my pc will just freeze a second or so after i've minimized and i need to restart, only happens with ET as far as ive noticed and ive tried in cod4/css though i use alt+tab there, not a minimizer

anyone had similar problem/knows how to fix? using etmin.exe for minimizer and have tried lightnings minimizor too, same effect

cba alt+entering every time i wanna minimize coz it takes time

Mine also freezes with Windows 7, but only for one second. I realized it readjusts the desktop colours to normal, unlike on XP. Maybe that with give you a clue...

try ticking "disable desktop composition" & "disable visual themes" in the ET.exe options

yea i had the desktop composition one ticked and it didnt crash for liek 2 days, but then started again last night, just ticked visual themes one now to try it out

running in XP SP3 compatibility mode also

well it's smth with windows aero imo, update gfx drivers or disable it, dunno
