mobile phone as a router

y0 folks,
i've got a mobile phone with internet access, but when i connect it with my laptop, the lap doesnt see that as a router. (wanna connect on the internet with my mobile phone)

so i asked some IT-mates ... and got a hint that i have to dl a program for it.


you know those programs or something similar?

It depends what phone you have; my Nokia 5800 uses the Nokia PC Suite to connect to the internet.

Yep, depends on the phone, iPhone needs iTunes obviously

Lol, just use tethering ... you don't have to pay if you get the info from a 3rd party thing :D saved me a load

you just need your handy software, nokia uses nokia pc suite like evan said.
