30 inch monitor

Guys I need some tech advice, I am thinking of getting a new monitor I feel like a 30 inch, does it work well with ET? Or is just to big and does not work well? I am also upgrading my pc to higher specs so on that side it should not be a problem! Thoughts?

Yes, I use my tv as my second screen to watch movies or whatever and then my normal monitor to play games etc, You'll need a graphics card with 2 DVI or HDMI ports, nearly all new graphics cards have them,

AFAIK the monitors at 30" aren't as good for gaming, depends what you want out of it tbh. Dual monitors or what?

I was gonna buy the HP 30 inch, but I bought myself a 40 inch tv and a decent tft...

If you wanna game on a 30 inch, you have to make your game windowed and add a black border around it, so that it looks like you're playing on a 24 inch or so.

You can play games with it... I had a 32" 1080p TV as my main monitor for a few months don't expect to be able to play competitively on it or anything. It looks great for high end games like Crysis and such but wouldn't recommend for serious gameplay.
