NFS:Shift or Dirt2?

I'm up for some racing game, an I have these options. Which do you think is the better game? Have heard good stuff about both.

TrackMania Nations
Dirt 2 is far better imo
dirt 2 looks like better
Shift is aweful, DiRT is far better
Dirt2 gets boring after a while; there isn't enough variety. Didn't play Shift, though.
exactly the same for NfS:Shift

i loved dirt2 :) but only without the reply shit.. much harder to drive but this reply shit sucks hard :S
Depends on what kind of competition you expect.

Shift is very nice RACING game. Imo its all about car and driver - 25% car, 75% skill : ) Good driving physic, and some real race-tracks makes Shift best racing game tbh. Unfortunetly, game have some bugs, but doesnt matter if you'd like to beat some records at track, driving alone ( in most cases, IA is just disturbing).

On the other hand, Dirt 2 is v. good rally game. And also its too all about driving. But far far far better simulator was "Richard Burns Rally".

Once I liked Rally games more, but nowadays I like Racing.

But it should change, coz I'd like to start in KJS (rallies without license) : ) Later I'm going to make racing license and I' ll try some racing.

End this topic, In conclusion I recommend Shift. And get wheel, if you dont have, coz u will FAIL. Gl & Hf.
Reaaly don't know what to tell you... I guess I like carrier mode? Doing races getting money for better cars etc( also that the driving won't be annoying)
some say nfs some dirt... Am confused. :s

Nope, just look.

Race is diffrent thing then Rally. Races are taking place at race track (asphalt, some circles, turns etc) you got powerful and very fast cars (300km/h and moar).

Rally are all about driving in difficult conditions - like game title says - Dirt.

That is the difrence: ) anyway, in both games u must do your best - you have to use your skills like oversteering, mean-gas etc.

I guess you are looking for more enjoyable game? Choose Shift if u got wheel, if dont, choose Dirt because Shift isnt game for non-wheel playaz. Btw many people was crying about new nfs cos 'stering is annoying'. Ye, ofc coz they played @ keyboards/pads I guess. Wheel + manual gears rulez. I was wondering, how is it to play at Logitech G25, with clutch, pretty manual, and 980 degrees of steering angle. I got ONLY Momo Racing... : D

MOMO Racing Force is alright, Driving Force GT too. G25 and G27 are way too expensive : /

Same thing about Shift < Live for Speed as simulator.
In my opinion driving physic in LFS is somehow overrated : < (maybe its too realistic XDDD) But I've enjoyed both games 8D

Oh, but rbr was tha best

Depends whether you have a racing wheel or not, the more enjoyable game though is DIRT for me, but that's mainly because it has better graphics and is by far easier.
dirt2 has nice gfx/ easy driving physics but shit and 2 few tracks
shift was shit feeling @keyboard playing
grid is still the one I enjoy the most even tho it's a bit too much arcade
Dirt 2 1000 times :DDDD awesome game i was like 3 to 5 hours playing it :S
