He build his own Half-Pipe in the Rocky Mountains to train for the Olympics... the is no other who can train like that!
but imo shaun is a bit overhyped, I prefer riders such as nicolas muller, jeremy jones etc. cuz they are sooo relaxed about everything and especially snowboarding

Also i wouldnt be suprised if they gave Peetu some extra just to shut us down after fuckup they did to Korpi. Also feels like Shaun is getting extra points always even if he would not make close-to-perfect runs.
just flawed system
About Shaun... he made 2 'double corks' and 1080 spin grabs. Indeed his runs wasnt perfect. But the 'value of trick-difficulties' was higher compared to the rest - wich havnt had a perfect run either.
Can only agree that it would be abit better to the Soprt itself if there is a more close competition. The system at all needs a slight chance.. true that
He formed the sport mainly. Perhaps that why he got this favorite status. As i said. It would be better for the sport, if there will be a change further
