True, but it's the best of the bunch (ustream, justintv, livestream). Octoshape is our other free alternative but we don't want to use P2P :)
We've had several offers on dedis to run our own 24/7 stream but theres not much point at the moment :) we don't really have any complaints at the quality we run at for quake live, 850 up. We won't go over 1000 (1mb) because people are still on 1mb connections hehe
Obviously several months down the line, we'd consider dedis.

The reason it lagged was VP6 encoder at high upload sucks (hense the test)
check again now, h264 at high upload = smooth :)
varies on the time of day/week though, obvs without hosting your own it's hard to get reliability
