If it was renewing an outdated passport you can do that on the same day, i done it 2 years ago didnt realise my passport was out of date till night before i was leaving so next day went into glesga passport office and waited on it opening first thing in the morning and had my passport done for 12 oclock took about 4 hours roughly and i used it that exact same day to fly.
under new UK law u need to attend an interview to get a passport. u cant get a fasttrack passport, it will take up to six weeks to apply,interview and recieve ur first passport. law was updated again in 2008 taking the amount of people interviewed from 600,000 to 4.5 million.

clear things up?I knew you couldnt get a passport right away if you didnt have one already thats why i said it will take a good few weeks but if youve had one before thats out of date you can go and get it renwed in a few hours like me and use it the same day to fly.

what school of law did u study at. EU law requires everyone traveling between EU countries to have a passport. i went skiing 3 weeks ago to France and was required to show my passport, no other form of ID is acceptable. i went skiing in austria 2 years ago and was required to show a passport, no other form of ID accepted.

It's his first adult passport. He sent of for it 4 weeks ago, When he had the money to pay the £90 as he paid for the Entry + the Cabin. Demented phones them and they tell him it hasn't been made yet.
It was my first passport back in 2006. I was going to teh USA. I had to get my mum to drive me over 2 hours to have an interview. Took over 4 hours to get it but i got it.
They send you a letter, taking up to 3-5 working days, Inwhich you have to prove where you live, and who you are. Once sending the letter back, taking another 3-5 working days, They call you back for an interview. Once you have complied with the interview, it then takes up to 6 weeks to get the passport, IF its your first ADULT passport - Meaning Jinosta was 2 weeks late.

I got my passport renewed, start to finish, in 5 days. However, it was renewing my adult passport.
Hyperthetically, he can't do what me or you did to get a passport, as it would be his first adult passport and that can not be fasttracked.
Ofcourse, this is all irrelevant, because he is full of shit.
