win xp vent lag

This is meant serious, not a copy past of the journal bellow. Basically my Internet has been fucking me for the last couple of weeks, but while my in-game ping is stable, the one that I have on Ventrilo reaches easily over 9000.

Does anybody has an idea how to fix my problem?

Same here! only that I hear what the people are saying at all time, but they are hearing what I said after even 5 minutes sometimes. Oh and sometimes it is suddenly working just fine, they hear me instantly.
