CB rant

I am not know as the guy who usually whines. First time ever, I have dissapointed in Clanbase.

Not saying any names nor clans (except my owns ofc) here, just to avoid the useless stuff.

Recently, I have been participating in few hosted cups (5on5 and 3on3). In both cases cup "supervisors" haven´t made any effort for those cups. Except announcing them and collecting some fame. Few points.

1.Brackets suck ass. DnC 5on5, we are on too low division, by prac wars we thought we would be around 3-4, how to change, no time (And due those 2nd point probs we have had to use "better" players from our "lineup").

And in Immortalstorm 3on3 we get raped on goldrush spawn as allied in last div, we rated ourself "3" since we are quite ok when searching lowmed. Fuck shit ass. We were guessing that we would be just little bit below the awerage, but apparently we are low-----.

2. We make a challenge 1-2 weeks earlier (well, in 3on3 few days), but always in the time in end of normal time (sunday). If opponent haven´t accepted our challenge by then, it should be forced to that date. Apparently it isn´t automated, so some actions from "supervisors" would be appreciated. Three times this week I have had to search the opponent, "Hi, have you noticed that we have an offi? Oh yea, it isn´t announced, but it has to be played". And since it hasn´t been confirmed (blaming opponents too), we have had some problems to get players. I have lost over 80€ on this week only because of cancelled work-shifts and "have-to-play" skit :(

So we can´t be sure if the war is on or not, since we don´t hear anything from opponent (unless they have some brain and assume that the war is on, even if the CB doesn´t pm them for it / confirm the war), unless I shall search them for whole evening around the scene. Would have go some easy forfeits, but since we wanna play these wars it has been bull for us.

Well, those were my major points. And here comes the solution!

Make some effort while choosing people whom can handle cups. Maybe pick someone whom has any knowelde about players, or even skill to see previous wars and cups (where clan has been and how they have performed, if they have been in finals of 3rd div, don´t put them on last, even if they rate themselves as "1"... At the moment only one who knows stuff or makes anything and responses on irc, seems to be Killerboy (gladly he turned out to be fine after few mistakes <3)

If it isn´t organized as well as Open Cup, just don´t organize it, it just feels like some fucking random cup, spoils the reputation of Clanbase. Soon someone will think that it is worse than (phuit) ESL. Eww.

If I weren´t such an unreliable drunk, I would takeover clanbase. Try to ask for a public / scene opinion when giving rights to use/spoil your site, ty. You will prevent quite a lot of mistakes like these in future.

Well, happier things now, took in hockey and crosscountry-skiing. Tomorrow a great war against USA <3
