bf2 multiplayer probs

Okay so im at lan at my friends houes right now and we tries to play bf2 multiplayer. The only problem is that when we tries to connect to the server someone has put up the game crashes. But 2 can join. Neither one of os have done anything different than anyone else. Is there anyone that got a clue how to fix it?
