Parent
another foorball player hits him with his studs :-/
Parent
omg that is just disgusting :OOOO
Parent
u can see his bone and the cut is 25 centimeter long :-/
Parent
wtf why is he running around everywhere omg thats horrible :/
Parent
nowadays players dive without contact and this guy was still running and even whining :D amazing
Parent
his reaction is priceless, nothing like the pansies playing soccer these days
Parent
the contact doesn't look any harder than normal collisions and I don't see why it would be worth red card anyway, even if the injury looks pretty bad
well, what would u do if ur the referee.. u see the kids' leg is broken and u have only a few seconds to react..
Parent
guess the call is correct at that point, because he can't be sure what really happened or so
Parent
If you do look at it in slow motion, Shawcross does indeed make contact with Ramey's leg which ultimately results in the fracture.

Most injuries involving a break in the leg during a challenge result in a red card. There will be no complaints from any party, I can assure you that.
Parent
yea I guess no one will complain, but still the contact looked pretty normal to me.
Shawcross doesn't slide sole first (or however you say it) and he didn't tackle from back either

The phrase people usually use is "studs showing".

To be fair when I first saw it, it looked like a 50/50 tackle that had gone wrong. Replays did show it was a bad challenge but not a horrific one.

It's a catch 22 thing I feel. The Arsenal players knew instantly that it was a break, everyone could see it. Some of them looked so emotional, it was unbelievable. I think in those circumstances the referee has to send the player off.

It seems to be a case of "Ok, you broke the players leg, as some compensation, I have to send you off."

Having said that Arsenal will send him to the worlds best surgeon and he'll be back in a few months. If something like that happened to you or I we may have problems for the rest of our lives. :)
Parent
most of the players prolly didn't eveb see the tackle that well, they only saw the result, but prolly the ref was right to send him off :)
Parent
I doubt shawcross could have played on, he looked distraught
Parent
The freeze frame on MOTD showed his laces around the top of the ball and Ramsey just poked it past him. If he hadn't have picked up the serious injury they probably would have been berating the decision to send him off. Instead they decided to refrain from commenting because of retards like Baz out there who can't look past the injury.
Parent
Yea, I agree totally. In the end, the decision to send him off seemed to be the best one simply because of Shawcross' emotional state.

Ah well, the boy will get access to the worlds top surgeons and will do the exact same thing as Eduardo hopefully! :D

What fuking planet do you live on, retard....
Parent
on what basis do you start insulting me, I just say what I see on the vid?

what about you grow up and start behaving
Parent
Vittu nää England futisfanit on sekasin, elää ihan omassa maailmassaan
Parent
näköjään :D
Parent
have to agree with Spirea, just what the fuck...?
Parent
Great counter argument.
Parent
you can clearly tell it wasnt deliberate aswell
I mean look how upset shawcross was after he had realised what he had done..

I imagine he will be going to visit ramsey in hospital later today.
Parent
he was only playing the ball, just slid a bit late, and yeah I guess he felt really bad because of that and surely it wasn't intentional
Parent
i cant imagine wats going through his head right now cus i assume he wont be sleeping well if at all tonight.. to know u have broken someones leg must be a terrible burden to carry :(
Parent
true that :(
Parent
whut? he swiped in with a kick SECONDS too late. Any1, especially a pro should know how dangerous that can be. Like the commentator said : really bad challenge.

Not as unprofessional and deliberate as witzel his faul in the belgian competition, but most certainly a very dangerous and unprofessional move.
Parent
I'm not interested in your god
He got gunned down LOL!
ye its bad :|

i meen look at eduardo's
image: tackle_516x350_27856a

it looks like his foot has just been shifted to the left and his bone is still there :SSSSSSSSS
when I saw it, I shat bricks. Ouch =( How long was he out for?
Parent
this leg break was bad but nothing compared to eduardo´s
i hope that ramsey won´t be gone as long as eduardo :(
Parent
ye i meen its terrible for something like that to happen to a player so i do hope he is back and fit to play as soon as possible.. i meen hes only young aswell so i hope hes OK.
Parent
no foul

anyone who thinks so, should follow cricket... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KR5w9l_Nno

now thats skill
you speak the truth o wise one
Parent
arsenal again ?:s
this foul isnt hard, but very unlucky..
clean tackle, red card for that other guy for diving.
Eduardo’d
but why red card?
didnt deserve a red card didnt go over the top of the ball nor did he do it purposely wasnt as malicous as the one on fellaini agaisnt liverpool since that was malicious but the result of this tackle obviously is alot more devastating

and arsenal deserve some bad luck diving cunts
watch liverpool´s Spainfernando torres
or Portugal c.ronaldo and then talk about diving
