yea I guess no one will complain, but still the contact looked pretty normal to me.
Shawcross doesn't slide sole first (or however you say it) and he didn't tackle from back either
To be fair when I first saw it, it looked like a 50/50 tackle that had gone wrong. Replays did show it was a bad challenge but not a horrific one.
It's a catch 22 thing I feel. The Arsenal players knew instantly that it was a break, everyone could see it. Some of them looked so emotional, it was unbelievable. I think in those circumstances the referee has to send the player off.
It seems to be a case of "Ok, you broke the players leg, as some compensation, I have to send you off."
Having said that Arsenal will send him to the worlds best surgeon and he'll be back in a few months. If something like that happened to you or I we may have problems for the rest of our lives. :)
The freeze frame on MOTD showed his laces around the top of the ball and Ramsey just poked it past him. If he hadn't have picked up the serious injury they probably would have been berating the decision to send him off. Instead they decided to refrain from commenting because of retards like Baz out there who can't look past the injury.
i cant imagine wats going through his head right now cus i assume he wont be sleeping well if at all tonight.. to know u have broken someones leg must be a terrible burden to carry :(
whut? he swiped in with a kick SECONDS too late. Any1, especially a pro should know how dangerous that can be. Like the commentator said : really bad challenge.
Not as unprofessional and deliberate as witzel his faul in the belgian competition, but most certainly a very dangerous and unprofessional move.
ye i meen its terrible for something like that to happen to a player so i do hope he is back and fit to play as soon as possible.. i meen hes only young aswell so i hope hes OK.
didnt deserve a red card didnt go over the top of the ball nor did he do it purposely wasnt as malicous as the one on fellaini agaisnt liverpool since that was malicious but the result of this tackle obviously is alot more devastating

Most injuries involving a break in the leg during a challenge result in a red card. There will be no complaints from any party, I can assure you that.

Ah well, the boy will get access to the worlds top surgeons and will do the exact same thing as Eduardo hopefully! :D
what about you grow up and start behaving
I mean look how upset shawcross was after he had realised what he had done..
I imagine he will be going to visit ramsey in hospital later today.
Not as unprofessional and deliberate as witzel his faul in the belgian competition, but most certainly a very dangerous and unprofessional move.
i meen look at eduardo's
it looks like his foot has just been shifted to the left and his bone is still there :SSSSSSSSS
i hope that ramsey won´t be gone as long as eduardo :(
