windows vista problem!!!

my mate JEYZKN:

HI i have a problem since 1 day, my sound changed something i dont know what it is now when i go play call of duty or smoething like that my sound is really weird, its like a kind of echo , i dont know what to do

He needs to change the sound quali in COD4. My COD4 did that before.
