I play already like 5 years with kinda the same config, just some little tweaks during the years.
So i would like that someone maybe have a look over it, maybe there are some things who i can still improve or some i forgot who are necessary. Its basicly not about the visiual stuff, i'm pretty confident with the looking of my ET :)

Using this one, i play with 125 fps anyway
When your fps is higher than your refreshrate you will get tearing, invisble for the human eye mostly but your bullet hits won't get registered as they should be
When your fps is lower you just get screenlags which you can see for yourself
But i loose the 125 fps rendering advantage for jumping then :(

No idea where you can find articles about it but read me comment above, I'm not a specialist on this area but I think my opinion is correct or nearly correct.

for the above stuff: what refreshrate & fps should i use on my laptop then in your opinion?
i always played on crt with 85 refreshrate and 85 fps (especially because it makes you a bit unhittable).. but as i changed to 125fps i found everything much smoother and could aim better.

but yeah, refresh freq caps your fps since a monitor can't display more images than its max refresh, which means if your monitor has a refresh frequency of 75 Hz it will display only 75 FPS
