canvas shoes durablity

hey there, i wonder if any of you guys got shoes these:

If yes, i heard the would be damaged after 1 month already.. is that true? :S Wanted to buy these but if such a material wont last long i better spent my money into some leather ones.

i got some similar sort of style nike ones, i highly advise geting some water proof spray or smt, mine got ruined with the jeans dye running on them.

ye such nano sprays where the waters perls down from the shoe.. got that :)

so they should last for some months ?

i think it would make them fall apart, and i guess you could just put them in the wash saying as they're material.

they are made of some decent material, so you can easily walk like half an year on them.

well i read about some random shoes which are made from the "same" material.. just a cheaper noname brand. And everyone was like that this kind of shoes (because of the material) only last 2 weeks.

i had canvas shoes of the brand munich, best shoes ive ever had. used them to play indoor soccer and still have em, undamaged. so if you feel that the material is decent, they will be good.

kay thanks.. guess i will keep them and give it a try :) Think they will be much more comfortable during hot summer days than some leather sneakers which i normally had.

I have fred perry canvas (the ones for 35gbp) for more than a year, tho haven't wear them that much, i don't see any damage
