HARD DRIVE PROBLEMIC

ok so i gave out my My Book 1TB for someone and now its not working, actually its turn on when i plug in the cables, i can also hear the PC recognizing it but i cant see it in My Computer.

its happened in 2 different PCs so the prob is in the drive...


any idea what to do? i got like 300 GB of usefull stuff over there, cant lose it

Can you see the disk in "disk management" e.g. http://www.partition-software.com/resource/image/Disk-20Management.jpg

Can't you rightclick & choose "mark partition as active"?
If not... try to change the drive letter of the disk, could help

try to plug in, log off and log on, don´t restart...old bug should actually be fixed but give it a try...

use getdataback on it
get back all the files
format it in diskmanagement so it'll work again...
