Good evening guys. After so long time I decided to check out Crossfire, my favourite community. It seems like you're still very much alive and kicking. ET isn't dead after all?
After I uninstalled the game for the last time in May 2008, my life re-invented the wheel and started rolling, bringing many pleasant changes along the way. I have a job, I have a beautiful girlfriend, nice car, 2 dogs and big apartment. Enough money to buy things I don't even need. But still something is missing.
We both spend a lot of time in front of computer and to be honest, I'd love to play something - but what ? I've tried all the NEW popular titles and I don't like them - too much zombies or too much technical shit to understand. Too fancy stuff for someone like me, I prefer simple games. This brings me back to ET. Oh how I miss late night fragging and early morning ownage in some random public server. Oh how I miss those lovely voice commands. I miss everything about ET.
Could someone provide facts about ET today? How's the situation with hackers? How's ETPro doing? Awesome new maps? More or less players?
I can't go back to ET, not yet at least. Don't have time to play online games after I get home from work. And I have to have time for my girlfriend too, of course :) . Plus, I guess she would never approve my return. Maybe someday in the future, unless the game REALLY dies.

It will ruin your life and you will lose all of your friends, your girlfriend, your job and eventually even your last trace of self esteem and you'll end up lonely, bitter and worthless like the rest of us.

pb didnt just manage to not do anything in the part of catching cheaters, but also managed to make the game worse with making everyone lag so badly that nobody plays with pb anymore

RtCW + ET = WIN
Alot of skilled players still play, such as mAus, Clown and Night.
RtCW Cup 4 is on its way.
ET EuroCup + OpenCup are also on their way.
