The Pacific reminder.

Since I didn´t see anyone else saying this, I had to do it.

The.Pacific.Pt.I.720p.HDTV.X264-DIMENSION

I have quite high hopes for it, though I doubt that it can beat Band Of Brothers... We´ll see, enjoy!


Fast thoughts about it: Well, it didn´t drag me in yet, though I will surely continue watching it.

Not sure if it is about lack of veterans in this one or have they just changed the style. In BoB I liked how the real guys talked about their experiences and gave a real face to that stuff, now it was just Hanks narrating + no original thoughts there. Well, I guess I just have to use to it.

I heard there are some kinda "torrent" sites where you can get it. Pirate island or smth like that is good.

It should start off amazing in my opinion, in the way Band of Brothers did, you don't want to be watching it just to see how it ends, you want to watch it because you love it!

btw, one of the best parts of the BoB was to listen to the opening song everytime...made me so sad everytime i heard the HBO sound and then the song :P

The war-veterans talking about their experiences and places where the series occured. Some of them we´re characters in the serie (or all of them?), story was based on them and their doings.
