Trying to fix a lift to attend my first I series event. Anyone from /cf/ driving from northern areas to the event? (Around Manchester)

Also who else is attending it?

Me neither and train tickets cost ~£78 so i cannot afford that so soon after lan. Life is hard for a poor college student without a job like me :(

ye trains are a but expensive tbh but i reckon the weekend would be worth it..

Ill ask him, I imagine he'll have the same problem with me, plus there is nothing for him to play and fail at so not sure if he'll find it worthwhile.

just wish ET was hosted there... i reckon they would be surprised at the amount of Uk support it would get not to mention all the Netherlanders and such that would come over as well :<

Not sure about that to be fair. You have to fly/get a ferry to get to the island remember, adding costs majorly!
