steam + win7

after quitting a steam game (not every time, but quite often if ive been playing it for a while) windows will basically lock up, i cant open/close any windows/programs although vent and a couple of chat windows etc still work

tried disabling the whole visual/aero shit whilst playing with no success, anyone got a solution?

win7 home 64bit if that makes any difference, it seems to be quite a lot shitter

home is probably the problem, i have problems with ET too that are apparently non-existant @ ultimate
