Good afternoon dear Kreuzfeuer-Community.
Here is the curiuos case of my PC:
- Each time I boot my PC for the first time a day, it doent load my OS correctly, which means: it starts, I see my desktop backround but neither programms, nor other applications get started.
- Taskmanager seems to work, but if i want to execute anything (like C-HDD) via taskmanager it crashes.
- If I restard my Computer, the same happens
- If i shut my PC completely down (off-button) and boot again everything works perfectly ;)
- OS: Windowns XP SP3
Any ideas?

get a rootkit scanner and get rid of em.
you could also try to shutdown your explorer.exe and then use "new task" to execute it again, but even if that works its only a workaround.
