Best Mouse settings

Good evening fellow nubs
I remember there were alot journals about mouse settings such as amount of Hz and DPI in the past.
And experts like overdrive making posts/tutorials about it.
I know few players who play with 2000 dpi etc (and i say ; switch to 400 ffs:p).
From what I was told dpi was not something benefitting your aim and just a way to sell a mouse.
And high dpi even gave mouseaccel.
Im calling for experts or proplayers to enlighten me and other players!

Can't remember who made it , was some dutch et player.
But from my experience it didn't make me play better, instead worse than my current settings:O
This is why people use lower dpi(400/450) to make sure the data-loss on screen stays at a minimum.
If you have 1000hz+2000dpi+a good mousepad. Then its no problem and when your used to it its nice to play with.
stick with 400dpi if you play in 1024x768 or lower.
