I'm thinking of getting one for like 10 years, but I can't get anything on arms or so cause of my job... And I also can't think of what to get, cause I dont want a stupid tribal, and I wanna have something I still can identify with in 20 years.
Almost wasn't allowed @ RAF as a photographer due to ink on my wrists, but they turned me down for other reasons then. But will apply again soon \o/ Got a nice Misfits ink too :F
Yo man, just put on whatever comes to mind. Who cares if it looks like shit, it's your own body :) If you're not sure about the tattoo itself, just put it in a place that won't be seen that often by others.
Why do you have a text on ur back? Obviously u agree with that line of text, but it's kinda short term thought prolly, but w/e; ur choice, never understood tattoos in form of texts.
tribals, stars or smthing like that doesn't have to be random.. and if it is.. it has prolly some art value.. that's what missing with a text.. and ur point of view on this world will change a lot.

i agree with you, its not original but it still symbolic and because its like pritty popular there are alot of artists which specialise in it so your getting a good piece of art and yeah they do have some meanings behind like good luck good fortune, strenght honour etc
