Ubisoft offers DRM apology

Quote
Ubisoft has offered customers a free game to apologise for the digital rights management issues (DRM) that have afflicted its recent PC titles, Kotaku reports.

Strict DRM on games including Assassin’s Creed II and Silent Hunter 5 have resulted in attacks on verification servers, making it impossible for some gamers to access their purchases.

To compensate players, the publisher has launched a promotion offering Assassin's Creed II owners the ability to claim a free downloadable game or DLC for the title.

Customers who wish to claim the free game can choose from Prince Of Persia, Heroes Over Europe, EndWar and H.A.W.X.. Those who qualify for the bonus gift will receive an email explaining how to claim it.

Okay, so whats next...

Who the hell made the decision in the first place? Looked what happened to Spor, and yet Ubisoft's DRM is more secure and annoying. 2 years later they introduce this shit again? Fucking morons.

Who Cares?!

Starring: dAF and Zorn.
Only reasonable thing to do
Responsible thing to do is doing away with the DRM, as it simply a form of controlling the market and free choice if and who wants to game without the restrictions of big brother.
