Im trying to install a new GFX card in my PC
My PC:

connect it to the psu if needed
You should see there onboard, pci and pci-e options. Choose the pci-e and save & boot (F10).
Expansion slots:
PCI Three (Three available)
PCI Express x16 One (None available)
e: also you need to remove all gfx drivers from your system before switching, but that's a no-brainer :p
i planted a 2.0 card into my x16 slot also but i tested it in store if it worked before i bought it.
so basicly what card should i get for around the same price which will work in this PC
mine luckyly worked but pci-e 2.1 they said is even more unlikely to work. and if it works it's just not doing what it's capable of since 2.0 is a bit faster than x16
