Hey, been a long time, trying to get ET back onto my "machine" cant remember half the sodding commands, i ve got 2.60B, think its ET pro i need now, isnt that one i could download from a server? i get invalid GUID when i try to get onto a server! help this nub :l

/cl_allowdownload 1 should make u download the stuff.

aha, it was bit of both.. had to set the file to admin, and change the vista to XP compatibility... thx

i remember u from back in the day. anyway common its not that hard:p
1. download ET
2. download 2.60 patch (EXE)
3. download 2.60b patch (ET.exe + ETDed.exe replacement files)
4. download etpro and put in ET folder
5. download pbweb.exe and update ET's PB
6. get necessary maps and put in etmain
7. put your config in etmain
8. guid problems? try /pb_cd_keyreg
9. some servers dont allow guids which are younger than 3days
