well the goal was a masterpiece, but you can't deny that there was a huge gaping hole in the manu defence which led him to score that goal.

exactly, the goal was a masterpiece. It's just that, if utd would of had 11 men(even given a corner to bayern) that goal wouldn't of happened.

i still can't understand why fergusson did not sub out rafael. Well im no top class team manager or anything but imo anyone would of understood that substitution. I've followed utd throughout the whole of their season, and i had seen rafael maybe play a couple of times - he's young and unexperienced. He's been booked already and utd is 3-1 ahead, seems quite obvious that bayern wants to score more, which means ribery(was he on left wing?) will be taking him on in 1on1s. imo a stupid mistake.
