inet problem

hey, help me fix this please!

so, im not reaching out to the internetz, infact I don't even reach my gateway.

EXCEPTION: When I either reboot; my connection or my router, OR when it(the DHCP?) refreshes itself every 30 min.

when EXCEPTION occurs I reach internetz from anything between 1min and 30sec.

I am pretty sure it is some wacked setting/setup/ on the computer or the network since all my other pc'S works just fine.



randompic would happen right here if it would require a somewhat reasonable amount of clicks.

it would be easier if you said which OS you are using.

1st try to temporarily disable DHCP on your network settings, use fixed IP address. fir instance if you gateway is 192.168.1.1 use 192.168.1.[random number > number of computers in your net * 2], subnet mask 255.255.255.0

try to ping 192.168.1.1, if you can, than add your manual DNS same as your gateway and then try www.google.com

well thx, have tried all that, except disabling dhcp because I do not know how to do it in a good way.

still can't reach the router/gateway for a longer time and im starting to suspect im on the willows path, have tried the standard procedures several time including microsofts and netgeeks tcp/ip steps.

the funny thing is that I actually have connectivity for a small amount of time after rebooting the net.
