i didnt see it, but its all about Clegg! Lib Dems seem like the only ones talking sense, Labour and Conservative are too busy trying to put each other down
Yeah I watched it. Thought it was quite entertaining and some good points were made.
I thought Nick Clegg was brilliant and just like niSm0 said, he's the only one talking any sense. He's pulling me towards a lib-dem vote atm, but that could change as i'm indecisive!
I would like to see BNP at one of these events just to see how that would react to Nick Griffin's comments!
the BNP are such a nonevent there is no real need to have them there, its like hes totally on a different planet, to the point where its ridiculous to argue with him
They will gain a 35% rise in seats in this parliament for sure gaining quite a few seats. I would not be surprised that in 5 years time, they will be putting a suitable challenge down to run the country. Especially if nothing changes and a double-dip recession happens.
bnp are on the rise though - people are obviously seeing something in them
i just hope the other parties can beat them off together and address what people really want.
at the end of the day not everyone is a racist-holocaust-deniner
idiots who dont pay any attention to policies and statements from party leaders etc.. people who whine and cry about everything but dont have an answer for it..
those people have the attitude that the country is ruined, leaders are shit and in their opinions have no choice to become a racist and vote bnp.
luckily bnp will never get in power... but in the mean time these people piss me off with their bnp profile pictures on facebook etc...
E: and as most of the 'BNP MASSIVE' look like this:
i watched the question time with nick griffin and he had the shit taken out of him and he couldnt stand up for himself atall. he was a laughing stock. however some of the points he made were good but only a few.
although my area is likely to be a labour hold with ~5000 majority :( although it seems most people from my yeargroup in the area are voting lib dem except for a few downers voting tory...
mrh. much as i'd like to see lib dems in power i can't see it happening. more likely a hung parliament. (in b4 labour-libdem coalition)
its our first election and the libdem's offer something new and different plus they seem to know what to do and its one of their parties points to scrap tuition fees XD
until now i always thought the lib dems had quite a good set of policies and values but the idea of forcing a minimum wage of > £8 is just ridiculous, even if you did that in a boom the economy would be ruined, who is going to pay almost £9 an hour for a 22 year old when they can pay a 16 year old £4 to do the same job..
minimum wage is bullshit because of the ages in which it increases
work is work, if you do it you get paid, it shouldnt matter whether you're 22 or 16 if you do the same work you should get the same wage
although as you say putting minimum wage up to £8 is a bit silly but it would help some of the poorest people alot just before the jobs go to Polish people or illegal immigrants.....
i like the increase in the minimum tax threshold though i think thats a very good idea
well i think the way it is staggered is supposed to encourage people to study while younger and get the shitty retail job after passing a terrible degree :d
if you want to support the bnp go ahead but don't try and claim they aren't racist, if you REALLY believe that, in my opinion you don't have enough brain power to be allowed to vote in the uk, if you know they are racist and want to support them anyway, fair enough - it's a democracy.
they kept interrupting them
"GORDON BROWN"
"NICK CLEGG"
Vince Cable is brilliant imo
he has the name of a porn film maker

And you're welcome to vote Lib Dems but you're very much not their target demographic =)
