WHY IS #LOTTE BANNED, UNBAN #LOTTE

Anyone knows any reasonable IRC Quaknet Operators?

Our loved chanel #lotte has been g-lined for "Distributing hacks and cheats"


And all people that were idling that chnanel have been Quaknet Auth banned.

Wrong again, I didnt put it, was actually offline at that time when 1 of the operators did so. And then the whole channel got banned, not just the guy who made the topic, but the whole channel.

Well, first of all it is ridiculous to ban all of the people who were in that channel. Second we tried to ask what is this all about and what we can do nicely, but I for example got banned from #help for 4 times, 3 of which I never even had a chance to say hi.

By the way, did you know that the folowing things are illega and will get you bannedl from QuakeNet:
Clones - Creating excessive clones from your connection, or by using proxies, is forbidden.


Idlebots - Using bots or clones with no real functionality to artificially boost channel averages is forbidden.

Illegal material - Distributing or requesting illegal material in our network is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to; Illegal copies of software, distribution of illegal MP3 files, movies (VCD/DivX), ie; any copyrighted material where the copyright is not owned by the user.

Multiplayer cheats - Distributing or requesting cheats to multiplayer games is forbidden.

Pornography - Distributing or requesting any sexual/pornographic material is forbidden, be it commercial or non-commercial.

Racism & Nazism - Distributing racist or nazism material is forbidden. This doesn't mean channels like #anti-somegroup would be forbidden - we still believe in freedom of speech, as long as it remains within certain limits.

Spamming & Advertising - Massive spamming and/or advertising (ie. promoting your website, product, channel, whatever) in channels or queries is forbidden.

Other - An IRC Operator may take the necessary actions against any user if he or she sees it fit.

So all racists and people who have ever sent porn pictures/videos should get banned !
