yeah they were kinda stepping stones for the next episodes. their purpose was to get the feeling of the show a bit and learn the characters.

It starts with that first 2 epis but it gets better and better and better with each episode. Like really insanely good plots, epic stories and dialogues and a very gripping storyline that you cant predict in any way.

the story is based on historic events (more or less), so the plot is rather predictable

Last episode was awesome. Waiting for season finale and seaon 2 :D

I was a bit hesitant after watching the 2 first episodes. But man, this is truly a great series!
