Razor Deathadder 1800 or 3500 dpi?

just wondering:

how big is the difference? (yeah, dont tell me its 1700dpi!)
i am currently playin with mx518 which has 1800dpi aswell (if i am not mistaken)

so is the 3500dpi one worth the prize (around 20euros more than the 1800dpi)?

cheers

short answer: no

long answer: noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I bought a G9 with 3200dpi if i'm right but only using 800 max, so it's up to you
you won't do anything with more dpi, but increase in the mouserate is nice. (125 -> 500hz)
riesen unterschied
du wirst von ohzor4 zu ohzor9
echt jetz.
ill just leave this here

reminds me on somebody but i don't want to tell who so...
Who is it?

There is no need for more dpi than 800.
Just the Hz rate is nice.
hidusbf does the same thing.

1800 dpi max
I've the Deathadder 3.5G and play with 1k hz and 3500 dpi + on the fly sens of 4.0.

Before I had an old Razer Diamondback (1600 dpi).

At first it is strange to have the higher dpi, but I got used to it now after my 2 month's ET break.

The old Diamondback didn't recognize small mouse movements and started to move with a tiny jump when the mouse movement finally was registered.
My Deathadder can recognize the smallest movements (you even won't move your mouse horizontally (close to perfect) without some practice). So this depends on your decision and personal play.

Unfortunatly I can't compare the old Deathadder to the new Deathadder. :(
450dpi 500hz (1000hz give you a few red lines in mousemovementrecorder)
the 3500dpi version got a better wire and prediction is off on default
i didnt notice any difference. Played with my brothers DA (1800dpi) and mine (3500dpi)
And the 3500dpi version got better wire. Played on 450dpi.
just play on 450 dpi, 1800 or 3500 doesnt make a difference :>
Not much difference, I had the 1800 and loved it :< Waiting for razer to send me my new one, in the mean time im playing with a mx518 and its shit!
what did you say? :o

Parent

Parent
well in fact shape is better but sidebuttons make it worse :(
Parent
the difference is 1700 dpi
finally someone :D

on clothpads 3500dpi version has noticiable jittering while vertical movements along some angles to the pad Y axis(1800dpi version aswell but on very few of such angles and jittering is also smaller)
Who would anyway use such high DPI settings? :P
Parent
no no, @450dpi
(and btw at high values it's less noticiable)

got a question for whoever may know the answer to my problem...

k well i've both used deathadder and mx 518 and both have a shaky feeling to it when i'm aiming... like its as if i were to have some dirt or something in the lens. but i only notice it when i try and trace on a corner of a wall or something. i have cleaned both of them but still the same feeling, then i thought it may be the wire hanging from my desk and when ever i move my mouse the wire would stick to it every so often, so i taped the wire on my desk and gave it some slack. but still the same feeling
when i watch other players ect... its like perfect smoothness. i rly don't get it. does it have to do with the hertz on my monitor? or my fps even though its 125...
When spectating other it always looks smoother.
