No. Invert mouse settings, inverts the mouse i believe. So you move right, the screen moves left (i believe). Negative accel is when the more you move your mouse, the less speed the mouse moves with.
Well. Acceleration is an increasing rate of movement. I.e. i move the mouse 1cm, and it travels 10 pixels, for the next cm of movement it travels 20pixels (thats 2cm of constant movement, not seperate btw) =30pixels. Negative accel means that the first cm is 10pixels, and the second cm 8 = 18pixels.
well some would consider it a bad thing, but considering you have not been at raziels pc and played with it on his game it may or may not feel different than anyone else that trys to use neg accel. i dont think you can ever have the EXACT same feel in sensitivity by just with trying someones settings because i feel the environment that you are playing in has an effect aswell. Obviously neg accel with your tree for a mousepad would feel different to neg accel with his glass pad or what ever he had.
so unless you could have the EXACT same feel as him when he uses it then i guess we cant really pinpoint why he thinks it works :P
Strange, i have a ms1.1 and a razer da, I like the ms more, feels comfortible but i have to use more cl_mouseaccel ingame with that. I think it has some negative accel. If yes then its really weird neg accel + more pos accel should fuck up the aim but NO, its really good. Only the one reason i use the deathadder is because at hard movements ms stops :-/ (i use low sensi with accel)
But now maybe i can make the same for the deathadder ?! gonna try somehow

You are a stupid person if you're asking why raziel used neg acceleration because as i explained he never used negative acceleration, he used it to compensate the flaw in his mouse resulting in perfect tracking, which you can achieve by removing windows' accel and using a decent mouse like the deathadder, ms,mx510 or more advanced..
Like i said it's negative accel curve because a mx310 (the mouse he used back then) had positive accel curve of 2-2-5 (he found that out by trial&error)

Not exactly true, try tracking someone with 10 sens when you've been playing with 0.4 for 5 years. Impossible to track, ofcourse you can hit them but when they strafe it's near impossible to keep locked on. Even you would fail, otherwise make .avi and prove you can adapt that quick to high sens.
Sure every-one can do that but that means you aim with your eyes not with your muscle memory or something. Thats why I always need long warmup when I am not in mood to play.
I also first need warmup in quakelive in practise mode for a half hour or hour, And then I play online matches.
And what you said muscle memory thats what I mean by observing constantly...but I couldn't find the word for it, Thanks for that.
And the funny thing after doing muscle memory so much times you get sick of it it starts to get automaticly without thinking I think this is the best part of gaming in games.

But be honest, would you say that you could play in an official with 20 sens and still win? Even after being a low sens of negative 0.X and still hit 50+ acc? I tried playing with a higher sens. I got so many headshots but not too many body shots.

Try my settings I use in a game sens 5 5600 dpi no mouseaccel accelfix for winxp razersens 10 windows sens normal and 1000 hz allthough im not sure razersens is on razer mamba mouse..
It took me some years to master..
And maybe I start playing ET again but im afraid I stay at quakelive cause there is almost no whine..and ET is ruined by whine and suspicion..
If only I could show in ET what im made of that would be so relieving and statisfying.
Oh and btw you need a razer mamba if you want 5600 dpi to try..and see the sickness of speed.
I noticed theres no razersens on the mamba mouse options dont know why...anyway If you think its easy your wrong it takes so much time cause its moving less then or half millimeters with your hand...I cant explain you would need to experience that feeling for yourself...and maybe im the only person in gaming land who goes to so high dpi..

im changing my sensivity every map (actually my dpi) because on some maps you cant play with a highsens (what im used to) like supply, a lowsens is way better. For maps like grush I use higher dpi and for maps like adler I use average dpi etc
i got used to play like this after my break (of almost 2 years), it just an habit after all
it depends of the map, example for grush and adler i got the same settings, if we go on supply i lower a bit my dpi to have a lower sens, for radar also, for delivery i use a highsens etc =)
i do not try a comeback! i play just for fun, i have no time to play serious, otherwise i would be the world class player i was before within a few weeks

Sens is different for every pc, depends on so much things.
We have different fov, windows sens, mousepad, mouse hertz, and different arm / hands
