Good monitor choice?

I'm thinking of getting a Samsung XL2370 monitor. If anyone has this monitor, please share your experience with it.

You think this is a good choice or should I go for something else which is better for gaming? (sidenote, it HAS to be 1920x1080 or higher)

which means you'd have to hook it up with two dvi cables, correct?

My Samsung 2233RZ (1680x1050@120Hz) has a DVI-D cable (dual-link DVI cable).

I don't know if you've ever played on a CRT@120Hz but it's pretty much the same feeling.
It's a lot more smoother than shitty 60Hz and you can tell the difference right away.

ehh my LCD running at 60hz is fine for me, its right at borderline out of what the human eye can detect anyways, I also prefer the picture of an LCD over a CRT, thats just me

22 inch 120 hz is denk ik een samsung of een viewsonic, maar die hebben geen 1920x1080 resolutie.

these acer 120hz monitors have overdrive problems + noticiable input lag
u'd better wait for http://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.php?subaction=showfull&id=1263457115 which shouldn't + also has LED lightning

whats unfortunate about it, I don't use HDMI for anything yet, I know its supposed to be better or whatever, but its clearly not, DVI is your best bet for awhile (though displayport is supposed to eventually be the best connection?)

First, to clear away one element that can be confusing: DVI and HDMI are exactly the same as one another, image-quality-wise. The principal differences are that HDMI carries audio as well as video, and uses a different type of connector, but both use the same encoding scheme, and that's why a DVI source can be connected to an HDMI monitor, or vice versa, with a DVI/HDMI cable, with no intervening converter box.
