yeye crossfires
had a great last school day yesterday. big party with all the students (about 100), absolutely destroyed the school with old magazines and cardboard (oke we also cleaned it in the afternoon -.-) and stormed the big local mall.

now leaving for the first of three written exams (1. german 2. english 3. politics)

got 2x in "bible" exam, 1x in psychology, 1x in culture, 2x in "hebrew citizen" 1x economy :P all on may (they are all also huuuuge, all about what i learned the last 3 years)

Well, as far as I know there are like alot of stories :P, I didn't really had to learn the intire bible, just a few stories. I don't have any religion, so I didn't really care about the stories :x

we don't learn all the bible...ofc else it'd be deadly ( we did actually learn the whole bible but through the years, in highschool we were just focusing on some stories, but quite a lot)
and ye i dont really care about either and i hate it..was never good in it

from what i see from ur flag, ur jewish, and Tanakh is the main jewish religious book, which has the same stories which bible has in the old testament, summarized in Tora, Nevim, Ketuvim. On the other side jews dont belieive on Jesus as the fullfiller of the messianish prophecy. So why bible and not the true jewish religious book Tanakh?

but not for the jews. To bring it to another example, muslims would learn the bible coz its more famous, instead of their true book Koran.
Religious jews dont accept bible, because its idolatry for them, more exactly the new testament

i learn tanach, however people here, in CF, probably don't know what tanach is, so i mentioned the name "bible" instead for them to realize what the hell this subject is

Those books have their own names, u cant use for one the name of the other, nobody does it. If a jew says they study bible at school, it still can be bible, coz there ar christians in Israel too. I wanna ask u something: as Pala said they learn from the bible, how did u understand he was speaking about Tanakh? How is it even possible, lol?

hes just translating it to make it easy, if he would write tanach barely anybody would know what he means.

i mean most ppl say theyre christian too, but there are 421387387 different ways to be christian too

u cant know what he means, coz he in really can mean bible what he even wrote, which he has at the christian school in Israel, or he meant Tanakh, but thats just wrong to use the word bible instead, coz those books ar the names for themselfes. Its like a if a muslim would say they read bible in the mosque. That just doent make any sense. ;)))
